All I Want For Christmas

... a blogger Christmas wish list... what a great idea... although... I only want one thing for Christmas...


      

So many people this Christmas are going hungry, starving even. So many people this Christmas are going to be shivering out in the cold. So many people this Christmas are going to be killed, or are going to kill themselves. So many children this Christmas are going to be crying. So many soldiers this Christmas are going to be killed because they were defending out country. So many people this Christmas are going to be asking for a couple spare nickles to feed their children, and no one will give it to them because they need it all to buy Christmas gifts for us. None of us need presents this Christmas. Even if we may want them, we have all we need. We have Jesus, food, water, and a safe house. Some people don't have a safe home, water, or food this year, and those are the ones that really need  presents...

The only thing I want for Christmas is that everyone that is safe and has everything they need will pray for those that aren't as fortunate.

Wow! I haven't posted in quite a while! BUT IM BACK! So, who was Thankful this THANKSGIVING! MEEEEEEEEEE! (haha!)!

What I really came to post about was that Carmen and I are going to a JR. High party tonight at THE SPORTSPLEX where we get to Lazer Chase and Ice- Skate for 4 hours!!!!!! AWESOMENESS!

Thanksgiving!!

So who's excited about Thanksgiving? MEE!!!
I'm so happy to have a day where we can just relax and thank the Lord. We have so much to be thankful for!! Be sure to thank him this thursday :) I'm also pumped about eating good food! We get to go to my cousin's house. Sweet!

Mystery Dinner Theater!!!!!!!!!!

Wassup everybody??
So, this weekend our church had a Mystery Dinner Theater!! On Friday, Saturday and Sunday we had three nights of theater and great food! In between each scene, the guests got served delicious food! My brother was in the play (a murder mystery) and my other brother was a server. I was a server too, with my bffs ella, jackson and micah! It was so much fun getting to serve people and honor God. Plus we got to hang out as one big familio during scenes! It was AWESOME.

BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA

Well, today I decided to sit myself right down on my bed and read Bridge To Terabithia. I had started it and HATED IT! But, as i kept reading... i began to LOVE IT! and now... its one of my favorite books. the other being The Magician's Nephew. Both classics!


Well, I'de better go. I'm about to watch the movie! IM SO EXCITED!

My school is doing a play that I am in with my best friends Ella and Becca. It's tomorrow!!! ahh!! I am nervous and excited :) I really hope nobody messes up! Lord, please let everybody remembers their lines.

Hey guys! Carmen here.
Who went trick-or-treating? ME! Me and my friends went trick-or-treating on Nichol lane, where they close of the roads so you can walk in the streets! I got like 5 poundsofcandy! But my mom only let me keep 5 :( but with the rest I sold to my dentist for a buck per pound! sweet deal! You're probably thinkin.....what does a dentist do with all that candy? He's supposed to avoid it! Well, they send it to troops, so yeah! I went as a hula girl :)

Carmen's Idea:


Title: Sucked In


Sucked in is (will be) about the main character - a 13-year-old girl named Allie. When Allie's family moves to a totally new place, with a new school, and new people, Allie feels left out, and homesick for her old town and friends. Allie is struggling with loneliness, and feeling lost in the world, hungry for something real. She knows about Jesus, but He isn't a big part of her life. When she gets into a fight with her parents when she finds out they're getting divorced, she wonders if her life is worth living. But she is in for an experience that will change her life forever...


My (Ella's) Idea:


Title: StarStruck


When Ellie moves into a new town, she has no friends, no one likes her. Ellie also doesn't know the Lord, neither of her parents are believers. When she begins her new school, no one likes her except for four girls who she thinks are her friends. When she doesn't make their popularity and beauty expectations, they ditch her. Then, her brother dies and then she really has no one. One night she wishes on a star that she would meet a real friend. A week later, she finds a friend. a true friend, in an unlikely way, that no one really gets or understands... and that friend, will change her life forever...

Title: RRR- Really Random Rebecca

My novel, Really Random Rebecca is a story about two girls named Rebecca Robinson and Rebecca Johnson. They (might have been pen-pals first) become next-door neighbors when Rebecca R.'s dad (and hence, whole family) move for work. Rebecca J. is a very normal, popular girl who cares about what other people think about her. Rebecca R, however, is Really Random Rebecca and likes it that way. She does things her way and couldn't care less what anyone (besides her family) thinks about her. But as time progresses, they become good friends. Throughout the book they learn many lessons about friendship, being loyal, and differneces. It should be fun and interesting to write and read!! =) Really Random Rebecca p.s. this is very tentative....don't forget, I'm random!!!


So yup, as you might be able to tell, WE ARE ALL SUPER DUPER EXCITED ABOUT THIS CONTEST (not really a contest, but you know what I mean...)

Youth Group!

Hey! Carmen Here!
Tonight I am going to my awesome church for youth group! It's Grace Center - also my friends Ella, Micah, Jackson and Mandy go there too! It's a great place to worship and be yourself. It's one of my favorite places!! It's a lot of fun to be with my friends :) It's one of my fav times of the week!

The Barefoot Sister's Music

Have you ever wondered what these crazy girls do in their free time? Why, they are either doing homework, hanging out, in youth group, or listening to music on their ipods. Now you wonder, What kind of iPods do they have? What kind of music do they listen to?


Carmen and I both have 5th generation nano iPods, hers is green, mine is orange:

We listen to things like Switchfoot, Superchick, PureNRG, TobyMac, and The Afters. We love to sing and dance together all the time! We love to dance in her driveway (a house that my uncle built) and do concerts for the grass, pretending that each of the grass strands is a finger from a hand from a fan of ours (she has at least half an acre). It is so much fun! We also like to listen to music while we color on her driveway with chalk (sounds super babyish but it is REALLLLY fun to do with your best friend! Believe me!!!!).

So now you know what the Barefoor Sister's do for fun!
